Once you earn profit in a funded account, you can withdraw profits any time you like and once every thirty days thereafter. Withdrawals are processed quickly and processed by bank wire, ACH transfer, PayPal, cryptocurrency, and more.

Trading Rules

There are only two simple trading rules that you can’t breach.

Daily Loss Limit of 4%
Maximum Trailing Drawdown of 5%

For both the SurgeTrader Audition account and funded trading account, the following soft breach rules apply for risk management:

Stop-loss required for each trade
Flat for the weekend — all positions closed on Friday at 3:55 PM EST
Maximum lots per trade are 1/10000th the size of the account

And again, those are soft breaches only, meaning those positions will simply be closed and you can continue to trade. That’s it. Those are the only rules for trading.

Tradable Instruments

A variety of instruments are available for you to trade, including Forex, select equities, major stock market indices, oil, metals and cryptocurrencies. Traders have the option to trade on Eightcap MT4 or Eightcap MT5, with MT5 offering a wider range of individual stocks and equities. All platforms and products are offered through our partner broker EightCap.

Which instruments can I trade?

Traders can execute trades on a variety of CFD market instruments — including Forex, cryptocurrency, metals and energy, stock indices and lots of individual stocks. To see the full list of available products, click here.

How much leverage do I receive?

Forex, Metals, Oils and Indices receive up to 10:1 leverage. Individual stocks receive 5:1 leverage. Cryptocurrencies receive 2:1 leverage. Traders can purchase an add-on at checkout to increase leverage on forex and metals to 20:1.

What strategies am I allowed to use?

We do not limit your trading style or strategy, in any way. Whether your strategy involves discretionary trading, hedging, algorithmic trading, or anything else, you can use it with SurgeTrader. The only requirements are adherence to the trading rules.

Do I need to close my positions overnight or weekends?

In a live trading account with real funds, SurgeTrader requires that traders be flat over the weekend. In other words, all traders must close their positions before the markets close for the weekend. If you don’t close your positions, our system will attempt to liquidate them for you before the close of the market. However, it is the traders sole responsibility to close their trades prior to 3:55pm EST.
