How is SurgeTrader
Different than THE FUNDED TRADER (TFT)?

SurgeTrader is different than The Funded Trader (TFT), with an exceptionally simple one-step funding model, where traders take an Audition with simple rules and no time restrictions.

With our program, traders take an Audition in a demo environment, and once they achieve a 10% profit target, they receive login credentials to a funded account — up to $1 million. Traders keep up to 90% of the profits they earn.

When it comes to funded accounts, traders have several choices in the prop trading industry. But what makes SurgeTrader stand out above companies like The Funded Trader?

All live accounts are funded with real money.

Some firms — like The Funded Trader — do not fund accounts with real money. Traders are still on a demo account once they pass the challenge. This means that they only pay out the winners, and those payouts are a huge liability for their profits. Prop firms like TFT make money when their traders fail the challenge, so they offer complicated multi-step funding models — or a program with complex rules and stringent time restrictions. Not SurgeTrader. Since we fund accounts with real money, we want traders to pass and be profitable. When you win, we all win.

You get the best trader support in the business.

When we developed SurgeTrader, we asked ourselves, “How can we stand out?” The answer is incredible customer service that goes above and beyond our competitors. We’ve committed significant resources so that traders can speak to a live person and ask questions or get support by phone, chat or email, during regular business hours. We challenge you to find another firm that makes it easy to talk to someone and get the answers you need.

We built our program as a one-step process with simple rules.

Other prop firms like The Funded Trader have complex rules designed to profit off failed traders. SurgeTrader features a one-step Audition with just a couple of clear, easy-to-understand trading rules. No multiple phases. No long list of hard-to-understand rules.

There are no time limits on the Audition.

You can pass our Audition at your own pace — whether that’s in 3 hours or 3 months. Some firms, like The Funded Trader, require that you must trade for at least 3 days and pass within 35 days. With SurgeTrader, it’s simple. Take all the time that your strategy needs to be profitable.

Request a withdrawal on day 1… and receive the funds same day.

When you earn profits in a funded account, we believe that’s your money to do with what you please. So, if you make profits on the first day of trading a live account, you can request a withdrawal. With The Funded Trader, you have to wait 30 days to access your own money. In addition, payout processing is usually same day at SurgeTrader, while The Funded Trader has you waiting 48-72 hours.

Maximum allocation of nearly $2 million.

SurgeTraders are permitted to have one account of each account size — for a maximum capital allocation of over $1.9 million. The Funded Trader standard account has a maximum allocation of $400K — with the potential to scale slightly larger through multiple complicated scaling phases.

The best prop firm....

I've traded with other prop firms before, but SurgeTrader is by far the best. Very friendly support and fast in answering questions. Not too many rules and just a one-phase audition.

SurgeTrader is a fantastic prop firm for any trader looking to take their trading career to the next level. If you have the skills, but lack the capital, SurgeTrader is the firm for you. I would highly recommend SurgeTrader...

I just passed my Audition with SurgeTrader. I can say that I had no difficulties at all with the experience. Spreads are good and the expectations are fair. I would highly recommend SurgeTrader if you are looking for an Audition at very fair prices.
